I live in central Mass and all of my local plant stores have shut down for the season. I thrive off of buying new plants every month, but it has gotten more challenging in the winter months since so many plant shops close down because of the cold weather. If you are like me, this is a major struggle. I have done my research to find the best plant shop in Massachusetts that is open for all seasons and I have found the perfect one- Seed to Stem. You will absolutely love this shop.

Seed to Stem is located right off Kelly Square in Worcester, Massachusetts. The entire plant shop is fully indoors which allows it to be open for all seasons. Seed to Stem is highly known throughout the area, hence why they have about 70,000 followers on Instagram. Their Instagram highlights how aesthetic their plant shop is, showcasing their various Instagram worthy products and knickknacks.

Imagine going to a spiritual Salem shop but toned down a little bit: that is Seed to Stem. They sell plants, cook books, crystals, sage, and natural makeup. They have a little bit of everything in the store.

My favorite item that they have is terrariums. Right when you walk into Seed to Stem, terrariums are hanging from the ceiling, hanging on the walls, and placed on every countertop. Terrariums are  closed containers that are full of plants and soil. Usually the container is glass so it is see-through. Seed to Stem’s terrariums are usually in sphere shaped containers or crystal shaped containers. In almost every terrarium at Seed to Stem there are a group of cacti and a special crystal, most likely an amethyst, selenite, or rose quartz.

Seed to Stem has a great selection of crystals. If you love crystals then this is the perfect shop for you. They have over 30 kinds of crystals in the shop that come in different sizes. Each crystal has a note card that specifies what it means. You can also get rings that have crystals, as well as necklaces, which are beautiful.

Throughout the whole shop there are plants lined up everywhere. Whenever I go to Seed to Stem it takes me an hour to pick what plant I want to buy because of the selection. They also have so many different kinds of pots for each plant. They are beautifully decorated and they are mostly from local artists in New England. Most of Seed to Stem’s non-plant products are from local shops around New England.

Whenever you are in central or western Mass, come check out Seed to Stem. You won’t be disappointed and you will get the best Instagram-worthy pictures.
