Her Campus at Emmanuel: What made you choose to join EC Habitat?
Sara Rodrigues: I wanted to try a different type of service with building homes for people.
HCE: What are you most looking forward to on the spring break trip?
SR: I am most looking forward to making connections with people who I may not know so well!
HCE: What does it mean to you to know that you are making a difference in someone’s life?
SR: It means more than I can put into words to be helping someone else and giving them a helping hand.
HCE: What is your favorite thing to do (or what you hope to do) on the build?
SR: I hope to try something new when it comes to actually building for the home, like maybe painting!
HCE: Favorite memory with EC Habitat?
SR: I hope to make many memories with the EC Habitat Team this year.
HCE: What is a mantra or quote that you live by?
SR: “Happiness is a journey, not a destination.”
