You may know Anthony “Tony” Cibelli because he works in the JYC, or because he’s a star lacrosse player, or maybe even because he has rocked the “flow” hairstyle his past two years at Emmanuel (see below). But, did you know he’s also another nominee for Big Man on Campus, as well as this week’s Campus Cutie? Read to find out more about this B.M.O.C. nominee…
Hometown: Westboro, MA
Major: Accounting
Relationship Status: [laughs]
Zodiac Sign: Gemini
HCE: How does it feel to be a Big Man on Campus nominee?
TC: It’s an honor to be a part of Big Man on Campus because I get to represent the EC lacrosse team and be a part of something that helps out a good cause.
HCE: Why should you win?
TC: I feel like I’m a likable guy on campus…and I have experience from high school, so I know what it takes.
HCE: What do you mean by experience?
TC: Well, in high school I was a part of “Mr. WHS”, which is basically the same idea as “Big Man on Campus”.
HCE: Where can you be found on the weekends?
TC: I work at the JYC on Sunday’s, and if I am not working I’m probably on my couch taking a nap.
HCE: I know you are on the lacrosse team and your team has won the GNAC championship two years in a row. Do you think the same will happen this year?
TC: I don’t want to be too cocky, but I think we have a very good chance again this year, [especially] with a lot of our key contributing players still here at Emmanuel.
HCE: You sported the “flow” hairstyle for a while; any chance of its return?
TC: I am a very big fan of my short hairstyle, but the flow may make a return come spring of 2016. Look good. Feel good. Play good.
HCE: [laughs] Okay, true that! Finally, what are three words you would use to describe yourself?
TC: I don’t know, how would you describe me?
We’d describe you as a worthy Big Man on Campus nominee, that’s for sure. Best of luck with the competition, Tony!
