How To Keep Up With Her Campus at Emmanuel If You Can’t Make the Meetings

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Emmanuel chapter.

Emmanuel College has a ton of clubs and activities to choose from, and Her Campus is proud to be one of them! But if you’ve got another club, a class, or too much homework and you can’t attend our weekly meetings (Tuesday nights at 6:30 in EAB 355!), then you may be worried that you can’t participate in Her Campus. Fear not, my overbooked friend! There are still a bunch of ways you can keep up with HC Emmanuel, even if your Tuesday nights are busy.

  1. Check out our Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok accounts

From inspiration quotes and self-care tips to event reminders and other HC content, our social media accounts have it all! By following them, you’re sure to stay up to date with what we’re up to, and even enjoy some fun TikTok trends when we’re bold enough to attempt them. You can find us on Instagram @hcemmanuel, TikTok @hc.emmanuel, and Twitter @HCEmmanuel.

  1. Attend our Campus Events

This semester we’re planning a ton of fun events, like collabs with Art Club, Valentine’s Day Card Decorating, and Finals Season Study Breaks! Stay tuned for specific times and dates by following our socials, but we always make sure that our events aren’t on the same days as meetings so that more people can come and enjoy. Our Valentine’s Day event is set for Wednesday, February 8th at 7:00 pm and we’d love to see you there!

  1. Write articles anyway

You don’t need to attend meetings to write articles! Just shoot us an email at hc.emmanuel@hercampus.com, DM the Instagram account, or have a friend who can make the meetings vouch for you and let us know you plan to write one. You can get more details on how to send in an article that way, too (I’m not putting my personal email in an article, sorry folks), but we’ll never be upset to receive an extra article! Even if I don’t know it’s coming, I’ll still edit it and go through the process with you the same way.

  1. Read our content

Even if you don’t have social media, can’t attend meetings or events, and don’t have time to write, just reading our articles is a great way to support Emmanuel’s Her Campus Chapter! Share articles you enjoy with your friends who attend Emmanuel, check out the restaurants we recommend, and use some of our favorite fashion tips! Check out our page here (but if you’re reading this, you probably already found it!).
