Bookshops are my favorite places in the world—you walk in and you can imentaly feel the cozy vibes and the smell of new books. Over the weekend my friends and I ventured over to Newbury Street and that’s where we stumbled across Trident Booksellers and Cafe.

If you’re looking for the perfect independently owned bookstore, then this is the place for you!

They have every genre you could want, from fiction to biographies and everything in between. I went right to the fiction section; they have an amazing section of YA books. They also have tons of LGBTQ+ books, and POC books both fiction and nonfiction. I ended up picking Honey Girl by Morgan Rogers. The bookstore has a great vibe, and is a perfect place for a rainy day shopping spree.

But books aren’t all that Trident Books has to offer: there are some cute accessories to check out in the store! The sticker collection is spectacular, and you can find anything from stickers that are Boston themed, women’s empowerment, or LGBTQ+ themed. They also have tote bags, fun bookmarks, and amazing journals.

As if you couldn’t imagine this place getting any better, there’s a cafe right in the store! They’ve got amazing iced coffee and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have breakfast sandwiches,  and awesome soups and salads.

So I highly suggest you check out this cool little book store, I promise you won’t regret it!
