We’ve all been there. Those days when you have so much on your plate that it’s a major struggle to complete the piling list of things needed to be done for the day. What happens next? A full night of plans to top it off. With not enough hours in the day, you’re forced to become speedy quick at getting ready, or cancel plans all together.

Ladies, you will NEVER cancel plans again after this tutorial. Become a total boss babe at converting the outfit you’ve worn all day into evening attire. By using these simple steps, you can begin to navigate style complications that have all been caused by lack of time.

Here we will look at a casual daytime outfit that can be worn into the night with a few small changes.

The tricks? Accessorize, accessorize, accessorize! Adding in some of your favorite bold pieces are one way to shift your look. Bags, belts, jewelry, hats, you name it—they all build to create a look more daring for the night time.

By incorporating fun pieces that stand out, you are able to give your casual daywear a dramatic effect. Using accessories that catch eyes are sure to make it known that you’re the life of the party.

Some other things that can be done to make this transition are adding a lip color or dramatic eye, and changing the shoe. It’s no secret that darker makeup tones and the late hours of the night go hand-in-hand. Switch up your look by creating a smokey eye with cat liner and embrace a colored lip. And while you may opt to wear a conservative ballet flat to the office, a night out needs something more adventurous. Try to tie in a higher heel or anything strappy to check this box off the list.

Now that you have mastered the tricks, it’s time to put them to the test. The white collared shirt is a staple when it comes to fashion. It serves as the perfect base for your look whether dark or light out. Commonly worn in office spaces, it can be worn professionally or changed with a fun flare for a night on the town.

During the day, keep it simple with a nice pair of dark wash jeans. Pair with ballet flats or a loafer shoe, pearl earrings, and neutral accessories.

Shifting into the late-night scene, here we see how a pair of heels, a bright bag, and a chunky necklace makes all the difference. This change takes the look further by making it more playful and ready to entertain.
