If you are a fall lover like myself, then you have probably been trying to ditch your summer playlist and get into some autumn tunes. I have done us all a favor and made that playlist, so here are some song suggestions that will feed all of your fall needs for this season!

Would That I by Hozier

This playlist would not be fit without a shoutout to Hozier, and Would That I is very fitting for fall. This beautiful song talks about love and going through a breakup, with some tree imagery sprinkled into it, so that made it feel like a fall song to me. If you do not want to get sad then don’t read the lyrics, and instead just romanticize fall with this song in the background.

Scott Street by Phoebe Bridgers

Phoebe Bridgers is one of my favorite artists, but unbiased, she makes great music for fall. Scott Street brings all of the feels, so prepare yourself with some tissues! This song is pretty melancholic, which is often a feeling that comes with autumn and the changing of seasons.

cardigan by Taylor Swift

You better snuggle up in your soft cardigan this fall as you listen to this fall favorite. Taylor’s voice is so beautiful in this song; it literally gives me goosebumps. And we cannot ignore Miss Taylor’s lyrical genius in this song; she gets me every time with the ending verse “I knew you’d linger like a tattoo kiss.”

Ketchum, ID by boygenius

Ketchum, ID is a collab that I didn’t know I needed in my life. Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus have such beautiful voices in this indie-folk song. “I am never anywhere/ Anywhere I go” really encapsulates the isolating feeling of having to stay inside from the cold as fall and winter approaches. It is a very slow and beautiful song that pairs well with a nice fall day.

Andromeda by Weyes Blood

Andromeda is most likely one of my most listened to songs on Spotify right now and I cannot get enough of it! It is a song that’s slowness and beauty pairs well with a fall day. Weyes Blood has an angelic-sounding voice

we fell in love in october by girl in red

This playlist requires girl in red! This song is iconic in so many ways and is one of the first songs that came to mind when making this playlist. It really is an ode to fall and lesbian romance in the best way possible.

Redwood Reverie by Plas Teg

Redwood Reverie is the type of song you listen to while on a fall drive. One of the best parts of fall is looking at the color-changing leaves along the side of the road as you pass by; this is definitely one of those songs that encapsulates that experience. I don’t even know what the lyrics mean, it is just one of those songs that feels like fall.

If you are interested and want to give these songs a listen, I have created a playlist with these songs and more!
