He loves me, he loves me not, he loves me, he loves me not… Let’s face it: Valentine’s Day is the one day of the year when girls question their relationship status and wonder why they don’t have someone to buy them dinner, chocolate, and roses. But you don’t need a man for that! Here are five ways to make this Valentine’s Day your best ever.

1. Pamper yourself

There’s nothing better than bathing in a tub with your favorite Lush bath bomb, except maybe a fresh mani/pedi. Make this Valentine’s Day a day to treat yourself. Whip up a homemade facemask or go out for a spa day. Whatever it may be, make sure you feel glamorous!

2. Take a day trip

Being in the city can get crazy on Valentine’s Day. Be adventurous and take a day trip out, away from the chaos. Enjoy the relaxing scenery of a beautiful seashore or the calming environment of the Berkshires. It’s easy to do and it’s a great way to see what the rest of Massachusetts has to offer!

3. Cozy up

Netflix is always a go to for any day, so on this Valentine’s Day, take a lazy day and watch your favorite movie or TV show. Pop some popcorn, grab a blanket, and stay in your pajamas! Just make sure to stay away from the rom-coms… Maybe American Horror Story would be a good pick!

4. Embrace the day and decorate

Pink and red are our favorite colors. Combined with hearts, we’re in heaven! Even if you don’t want to celebrate the holiday, you can still embrace it. It’s also an excuse to decorate! Craft some DIY treats and decor and your room will look like it’s out of a Tumblr page.

5. Get dolled up and go out with the girls

Any excuse to dress up, right? With Valentine’s Day on a Saturday this year, it’s the perfect opportunity to make plans with your best friends and go out for the evening. Whether it’s dinner or throwing your own party, have a fun night and enjoy the company of some of your favorite people! After all, who needs a man when you have your best friends?

I hope you make some memorable plans and have a happy Valentines Day!
