Hi everyone!!! I’m Nicole Vazquez, a WLP Major and Marketing Minor from Fairfield, CT.
I am a new Contributing Writer to HCEmerson! Along with HerCampus, I am sister of Emerson College’s
National Sorority, Alpha Epsilon Phi! I just transferred to Emerson in the Spring of 2011, so I cannot
wait to become more involved in what Emerson has to offer.
My name is Aleks Fonseca and I am studying Writing, Literature and Publishing with a minor in
Health Communications of the class of 2014. I am editorial staff and writer for the HCEmerson branch.
I was born in Costa Rica but I lived in Miami for the past 10 years. I am active and part as a blogger
and social media team for She’s The First Emerson, news reporter at WECB News, and a writer for
Emerson Fashion Society.
I was also a production assistant for the 30th EVVY awards this past May.
My name is Kate Lagreca and I’m from Doylestown, PA. I’m a sophomore with a Political Communication
major and a Journalism minor. I will be writing about women’s politics news for HCEmerson,
but beyond that, I’m also an associate editor of Emerson’s Fashion Society blog, an Orientation Leader,
a writer for WEBN, and a blogger and sponsorships team member for Emerson’s She’s the First.

My name is Hannah Try and I am from Lansdale, PA. I am currently a Writing for Film and TV

Hello everyone! My name is Micah Schweitzer, and I am a sophomore marketing
communications major. I am originally from Macungie, PA, a small town you’ve probably
never heard of. This will be my first year as a member of HCEmerson where I will be
a photoblogger and also a part of the marketing staff. Outside of HCEmerson, I participate in EMcomm, the EVVYs, and em magazine.

Hey there! My name is Regina Mogilevskaya and I hail from Montvale, NJ. I’m a junior
Writing, Literature and Publishing major here at Emerson, as well as a photography minor.
This past summer I was an intern at Modern Painters Magazine located in Chelsea, NYC, and
I also currently serve as the assistant photo editor of The Catharsis, an online literary magazine.
My interests include: dancing, photography, blogging, films, poetry, museums, and art.
If you happen to walk in on me without notice I will probably be eating cheese and watching
Almost Famous, or practicing for the day that I finally get to be a back up dancer for Britney Spears.

My name is Krista Firkins and I’m a senior print and multimedia journalism major with minors in photography and marketing. I’m excited to join the HC Emerson team after spending the whole interning in the Her Campus national offices! I’ll be continuing my internship there through the fall. At Emerson, I play for the women’s lacrosse team, I’m the managing editor of Your Magazine, the editor of Emerson College Sports Business Society website, a columnist for the Berkeley Beacon, the art director for Wax on Felt Records. I love the Red Sox, the Beatles, travelling, Harry Potter, cleaning, and my dog.
