Traditionally, every Spring Break my mom and I hit the mall to shop for essentials and replace old items in our wardrobes.  This year, I went a little crazy.  My sister is getting married in July (in Jackson Hole, WY by the Teton Mountains!) and all I can think about is what I’m going to pack for the week before.  This spring, I’ve been obsessed with basics, but I’ve also been in a boho Free People kind of mood.  Simple layering tanks work well with anything from cut-offs, which I had not replaced since my Sophomore year of high school, to simple skirts like this blue and white striped Collective Concepts number from Nordstrom.  I also picked up a neon pink and navy striped tee from the J Crew Factory for a nice twist on the classic Breton striped tee.  I love Free People for their interesting combinations of color, texture, and silhouette.  I picked a few fun peplum tops from their spring line in pale pink, tomato red, and coral, and a flowy tee in purples and blues.  Aside from clothes during this season, I’m all about accessories!  I have been loving the neon pops of color for bracelets and necklaces like these two I picked up at Nordstrom and Bauble Bar.  Yesterday may have been the first day of spring and snow is still on the ground, but warm weather is coming, I promise!  So, what are you lusting after for spring?  Let us know in the comments or snap a picture of your Spring Break Haul to share with HC Emerson readers!  Happy Shopping!
