I would describe my skin as a combination type; in the winter it can get excessively dry and in the summer my skin tends to be overly oily. I’ve tried a vast multitude of brands (especially ones that put moisture back into my skin instead of stripping away the good oils) and have settled on these products because they give me the best results for my skin type. Here is a list of the skincare products I use in a day and my honest reviews of them:

(In no particular order…)

Burt’s Bees Daily Moisturizing Cream

This cream is a great day-to-day moisturizer. Since it is made for sensitive skin, this product has no irritating acids. My only qualm is that it doesn’t have a super thick consistency so you may have to apply it twice if you are fighting dry skin.

KraveBeauty’s Matcha Hemp Cleanser

This cleanser is everything! I’ve found it so hard to use a cleanser that doesn’t strip my face of the good oil that keeps it moisturized. This product is marketed as an antioxidant cleanser, which means it will “clean out everything your skin doesn’t want while leaving what it needs.” This product has a nice mild smell and will NEVER leave your skin red.

Dr. Hauschka Renewing Night Conditioner

This product is definitely the most expensive on the list at $52.50, but let me tell you, this actually works without fail. In two weeks this product will have your face looking the best it has ever looked. The vials smell like rosewater, is oil-free, and is for ALL skin types. In the past I have used this product only once a year to get my skin back on track ( especially in the winter when my skin is super dry). The investment is sooo worth it if you want to see fast results.

*Note: I do not use this product every day only once a year but I had to include it.

Thayers Witch Hazel Toner

I use this product everyday as a makeup remover and toner. Incorporating witch hazel into your morning and night routine will help to clear acne while smoothing out skin complexion. This toner is alcohol-free, and is quoted by many as being gentle enough to use multiple times in one day.

Nature’s Bounty Perfectly Pure Chapstick

Everyone has their favorite chapstick, and this is by far my favorite. This chapstick has Vitamin E oils to combat extremely chapped/cracked lips. It won’t sting like Burts Bees chapstick does, and it has no taste. Very soothing!

Sephora Glow Recipe Watermelon Sleeping Mask

I admit I was highly skeptical when I first bought this at Sephora. The main reason I bought it was because it smelled so good, and I was also looking for a hydrating mask. If you put a small amount on before bed the product will sit on your skin without being wet or messy. This product is so strong that I have to wash it off in the morning in order to apply makeup. It actually lasts throughout the night and in the morning your face will be glowing! Super soothing and doesn’t cause any acne or dryness- a must
