My name is Allie Duggan and I am a sister of the sorority Alpha Epsilon Phi at Emerson College. Ribbons on the Runway is the Emerson College Beta-Alpha chapter of Alpha Epsilon Phi’s largest annual philanthropy event! All proceeds from our event go toward Sharsheret, a non-profit organization supporting Jewish women and their families affected by breast cancer.

Ribbons began as a charity fashion show and auction by the sisters of Emerson College’s AEPhi seventeen years ago. Since then it has become an integral part of our chapter’s identity. Given the circumstances, for the past few months, the Ribbons on the Runway team has been working together to find a way to participate in this fashion show event that we look forward to every year in a way that is safe for all. This year, we have decided to create a year-long campaign through social media in order to support Sharsheret and educate as many people as possible on what it represents.

Our team has been meeting weekly since this summer, working to create merchandise and partner with companies in order to promote our incredible organization.

Each month we are raffling off amazing gift baskets with items donated by local sponsors. Every time you donate through our link, you are entered to win, and the more you donate the more entries you get. Every month there will be a different basket.

Check out our Facebook page Ribbons by AEPhi, on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/ribbonsaephi/ , or on our website https://www.ribbonsaephi.wixsite.com/runway to learn about all of our other endeavors. You can also check out the amazing beanies our sisters have been sporting to promote Ribbons! We hope you will join us. To go far, go together.
