As someone who began listening to music in the late 2000’s, I grew up with a lot of fun music from Lady Gaga, Kesha, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift, all of which are still around now, but have transformed themselves many times since then. This is great, because I, too, have changed and grown as a person. In the late 2000’s I wore lace camis under everything, and that is not something I look back on fondly. However, the music can be looked back on with a smile. There were some hits and there were some flops, like “My Humps” by the Black Eyed Peas.

Here are twenty songs that I consider hits, some for no reason other than the fact that I get giddy when I hear them.
