So far, 2013 has been a good year for movies. We’ve had Gangster Squad (hel-lo Ryan Gosling), Warm Bodies, Olympus Has Fallen, and a number of other memorable films. But what’s coming up? Here are five films we’re all looking forward to, coming in Spring 2013:

The Great Gatsby:

Warner Brothers has done it again. Here comes a visually brilliant film adaptation of our favorite Fitzgerald novel. Following the quiet narrator, Nick Carraway (played by Spider-Man’s Toby McGuire), the film introduces viewers to New York City in the 1920’s, “an era of loosening morals, glittering jazz and bootleg kings.” The Great Gatsby will portray the glitz and glamour of Jay Gatsby’s time, the romance and drama surrounding Daisy and Tom Buchanan, and the slow crumbling of it all. This much anticipated romantic drama will be released on May 10th.

Now You See Me:

Now here’s something different. Though we’ve seen magic portrayed in the context of Harry Potter and The Wizard of Oz, we haven’t seen it like this. Now You See Me portrays a story in which “FBI agents track a team of illusionists who pull off bank heists during their performances and reward their audiences with the money.” Starring a number of familiar faces, including Isla Fisher (also in The Great Gatsby), Morgan Freeman, Jesse Eisenberg Dave Franco, Michael Caine, and several more, this thriller is surely to be set apart from the rest. This seemingly witty and suspenseful film comes out on May 31st.

The Hangover Part III:

Though it might seems overdone, there’s no doubt that The Hangover Part III will gather a big audience. There’s been talk that it’s time for the producers to stop, but this third addition seems to take a new turn. IMDB’s synopsis claims that “This time, there’s no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off.” Starring our favorites – Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, and Ed Helms – this comedy’s third installment will be released on May 24th.

The Reluctant Fundamentalist:

This insightful thriller is based off of the novel (by the same name) by Mohsin Hamid. The story follows a young Pakistani man, Changez, who is chasing the American Dream but still living in the past in a sense. “He finds himself embroiled in a conflict between his American Dream, a hostage crisis, and the enduring call of his family’s homeland.” This is a great film for history and political buffs, as it raises questions of cultural differences and prejudice. The Reluctant Fundamentalist is to be released on May 10th.

The Bling Ring:

Here’s another film that we haven’t seen before; inspired by actual events, The Bling Ring follows “a group of fame-obsessed teenagers [who] use the internet to track celebrities’ whereabouts in order to rob their homes.” With an interest mix of a cast, The Bling Ring stars Harry Potter famous Emma Watson, Leslie Mann, Israel Broussard, Nina Siemaszko, and several more familiar and new faces. This crime-themed drama comes out on June 15th.
