1. Color

If your wardrobe has consisted mostly of blacks, browns, and navies for the past few months, start to break the habit by adding in pops of color. Add in some pastels, which are always a big trend for Spring! Placid blue, hemlock, and radiant orchid are this season’s “it” colors.

2. Layering

Soon, you’ll be able to shed the heavy winter coat!  Lighter cardigans and blazers look put-together for the transition to the Spring months. Lighter bomber jackets and windbreakers work well, too!

3. Preexisting Pieces

Some big trends we’re seeing for Spring are metallics and sheer clothing. Luckily, lots of our winter pieces from parties and events already have these materials! You can incorporate them in new ways- like pairing that sheer blouse with some skinny jeans and colorful flats!

4. Floral

Floral is going to be huge in the upcoming months, and you can gently start working it in now. Just make sure the prints aren’t too bold, and try to find pieces in more subdued tones.

5. Accessorize

This is the key to glamming up your Spring wardrobe. Start adding some bold rings, cuffs, and necklaces. Also, pick up some new shoes and a handbag that will freshen up your wardrobe- anything with texture or fringe is in!  Be sure to make sure your scarves for Spring are lighter in color and weight.

Good luck transitioning your wardrobe from Winter to Spring! It’s a fun time to experiment with color and texture! The sky is the limit, beauties!
