Getting Through the Spring Semester

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Emerson chapter.

The words ‘spring semester’ are pretty deceiving, because it’s mostly freezing Boston weather. Winter break went by too fast, and now you have almost 4 months of classes and work to get through before summer, which might as well be a million years away. It’s hard, but there’s a light at the end of this snowy tunnel – here are our thoughts on spring semester!

It’s officially another Boston winter, and this one’s a doozy.

Getting out of bed is tough enough…

…and navigating through the crowds of students to get to class in the cold feels like a frenzy.

So you turn to comfort food and Netflix to get you through this hard time.

But once you fully embrace the cold weather, you can start making the best of it!

No more “but it’s such a beautiful day outside” excuses to avoid going to the gym…

Alternatively, no one can judge you for staying inside and watching movies all day!

You might actually get some work done…

Plus, everyone agrees that the spring semester goes by so much faster than the fall.

And if all else fails, your bed will always be there for you on the coldest of cold days.
