This is the time of year where every girl is anxiously waiting for the biggest magazine issues to arrive on shelves. The September Issue is the most anticipated issue of the year; some might say it is a fashionista’s bible. The most respected fashion magazines compete for the thickest issue. Vogue takes the lead once again with the heaviest and largest issue with 916 pages full of spectacular designs, designers, and influential people. Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Vanity Fair, Elle, Glamour, and InStyle don’t fall too far behind.
This September, Vogue featured. Why Lady Gaga, if she hasn’t really been in the tabloids or hasn’t released any new songs? The reason behind this is because of the launch of her new outrageous fragrance. This year Vogue celebrated 120 years of style with a special feature of the stylish designers, actors, singers, models and more of the moment. Two other feature articles in this magazine were “The Women Who Have Most Often Graced the Cover of Vogue” and an article of Miuccia Prada composing costumes for the Great Gatsby. Last but not least, September’s Vogue couldn’t have been complete without a shoot by Mario Testino, a renowned fashion photographer.
Vanity Fair featured Kate Middleton on the cover of the September issue, naming her part of the international Best Dressed list. The International Best Dressed List is an exclusive list in every September issue of Vanity Fair. Some features of the magazine are interviews with Net-a-Porter’s Natalie Massanet, Stella McCartney, John Fairchild, and Israeli Photographer and filmmaker Ori Gersht.
Glamour featured Victoria Beckham on the cover. Not only does she appear on the cover, but she was the first ever guest editor who collaborated with Cindi Leive. Another feature in this magazine is the thirty different hairstyles inspired by four runway trends.
Elle featured Katy Perry on their September Cover. This issue contains a list of the best fall beauty tips, including rosy cheeks, braids, hair jewels, colored tips, butterfly effect (eye make up), and Bordeaux lips. One of the best features in the magazine is Elle‘s annual culture guide for fall, which includes men, songs, movies, and chefs you need to know about.
Marie Claire featured Miley Cyrus in this September issue. Miley Cyrus has recently been on the tabloids because of her big engagement to Liam Hemsworth and her drastic change in hairdo. In this issue, one of the interesting features is about “Getting Over You FOMO”, which stands for Fear of Missing Out. It also includes numerous amounts of secrets to fresh-faced skin.
InStyle featured Jennifer Lopez on the September issue. The fall issue includes some of the best deals and exclusive launches that will hit stores this month. Some include Warby Parker’s Where’s Waldo Anniversary Frames, Stubbs & Wotton for J.Crew, M. Patmos for Ten Thousand Things, and more.
