A Cute Halloween Decoration You Can Make on a Budget

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Emerson chapter.

If you’re looking for a simple way to add a little spook to your place, look no further! Here’s an easy craft you can make of a ghost with just a couple things from the dollar store, if you don’t already have them.

What you’ll need:

  • Lollipops

  • Tissues

  • 1 marker

  • Tape

Step 1: Get your lollipops out. I suggest using something a little bigger, such as blow pops or tootsie pops, but any size is fine.

Step 2: Place a tissue over the top of each lollipop, fitting it snugly over the edible part of the lollipop.

Step 3: Bunch the tissue at the top of the lollipop stick, letting it stick out at the bottom of the stick, similar to a fitted dress. Use your tape to secure the tissue at the top of the stick, near the edible part of the lollipop.

Step 3: Use your marker to draw a face on the tissue covering the part of the edible part of the lollipop. You can draw any face or decorations you like.

And you’re done! You’ve now got some cute, yummy ghosts to add a little Halloween spirit to your life. Just because we can’t gather in large groups this Halloween doesn’t mean we can’t still have fun!
