Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and for some couples, this news brings sheer panic. While other duos have had their dinner reservations booked for months, some of us find ourselves short on time, cash, or energy. Not to worry, though! There are still plenty of ways to celebrate your relationship this year without even leaving your room.

1. Have a movie night

A date night classic, movie night doesn’t always have to involve a theater. Find some romantic comedies on Netflix, make some popcorn with pink and red M&Ms thrown in, and curl up on the couch with your sweetie.

2. Spend the evening at the spa

Spas can be crazy expensive, but spas inside your house? Not so much. Painting toes, soaking feet, and rubbing shoulders are a great way to treat both yourself and your S.O. Enjoy each other’s company and relax!

3. Get crafty

Try making something together! Even if neither of you are crafters by nature, creating together is an awesome way to connect. Bake yummy cookies, create dorm-room décor, or cut out cute Valentine’s Day cards.

4. Make memories

Make a vlog together! You’ll have a great time recording it and you’ll be able to keep the memory afterwards. If being recorded isn’t your thing, grab a disposable camera and make a photo album of your night instead.

5. Have a dinner date

Put on Lady and The Tramp and get cooking some spaghetti. Though a bit cliché, dinner dates are a classic for a reason and this at home spin is even better. Fumble around the kitchen together and enjoy your tasty results! You can dress up like you’re at a five-star restaurant or sit down to eat in your comfiest pajamas.

6. Play games

Whether you challenge each other to a game of cards, play 20 Questions, or turn on the video game console, gaming together is a nice way to relish in an evening with your partner without the fluff of a traditional Valentine’s Day date.
