Jessica Alba is the queen of transitioning certain wardrobe pieces to work for almost every season.  Two trends that Alba does well are fun colored or printed denim and super cozy, chunky sweaters.  This ensemble captures the essence of her style: casual, simple and put together.  These trendy printed skinny jeans pair well with a simple knit ivory sweater, warm scarf, and chic black booties.  Alba’s Current/Elliot ankle skinnies alone retail for over $200!  Steal her look with a less expensive alternative.  Instead, splurge on classic black leather booties that are bound to be in style for a while.

Rachel Bilson is another pro when it comes to mixing and matching for different seasons.  Rather than keeping it all neutral like Alba, take a hint from Bilson and rock your bright printed denim into the cooler months by making them the focal point of your outfit!  Opt for a lightweight inexpensive grey sweater to tone down the python printed red skinny jeans.  Add tough black boots and a simple backpack, then throw your hair up and go!  You’ll look laidback and cool like Bilson for a fraction of the price.

Blake Lively is slowly becoming one of the best dressed young celebs in Hollywood.  With this look, she sticks with one trend and keeps the rest of her outfit classic as to not go overboard.  Pair an oversized tribal patterned cardigan with basic skinny jeans, a tank and lace up boots to copy Blake’s look.  Her on-trend sweater and boots (not shown) are so popular it is easy to find them at an affordable price!

Mandy Moore has nailed the ultimate “girls’ night out” look for winter.  Her almost all-black ensemble with a few pops of red here and there is chic and sophisticated.  Many of the items in Moore’s look are staple pieces to splurge on because they are timeless, but don’t bother breaking the bank!  You can scoop up a plain white tee, black trousers and pumps, a red clutch and bold lipstick for very inexpensive.  A faux-leather jacket with a fresh silhouette adds an element of interest—it won’t matter that it isn’t real leather!
