Best Steals from the Neiman Marcus + Target Collection

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Emerson chapter.

The most epic collaboration that features 24 desirable designers has finally hit stores!  The Target + Neiman Marcus limited-edition holiday collection launched December 1st and is quickly selling out at Target.com, NeimanMarcus.com and Target stores.  Designers include Derek Lam, Diane von Furstenberg, Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Tory Burch, Alice + Olivia, Proenza Schouler, Rag & Bone, Rodarte, and the list goes on.  With so many amazing pieces to choose from at affordable prices, it’s difficult to determine what is actually a steal from this collection.  Here’s a list of must-haves from this designer collaboration you need to get your hands on!

Brian Atwood Leather Gloves

These studded black leather Brian Atwood gloves are one of a kind.  The famous shoe legend designed for the hands rather than the feet and debuted a unique winter weather lifesaver.  An ombre effect on the studs adds edge while the soft leather keeps the gloves elegant.  At $49.99 Atwood’s contribution to the holiday collection should definitely make your wish list this season.

Rag & Bone Men’s Heathered Shawl-Collar Cardigan

Rag & Bone sweaters retail anywhere from $200 to more than $500 a pop!  The New York based fashion label is beloved by celebs and fashionistas, and now you can have a taste of the line for a fraction of the price. This classic knit shawl collar sweater is the ultimate steal from the NM + Target collection at only $69.99.  The androgyny of the sweater is perfect for both men and women.  I scored my own Rag & Bone sweater from the collaboration and I plan on pairing it with worn-in skinny jeans and riding boots for the rest of the winter!

Rodarte Christmas Ornament

If the galaxy-style pattern alone doesn’t sell you on this festive Christmas ornament from Rodarte, I’m not sure what will.  The hand-painted, hand-blown glass ornament costs a mere $19.99, which is a great price for hand craftsmanship not to mention the designer name!  Among the twinkling holiday lights, this ornament will stand out.

Porenza Schouler Abstract-Print Sweatshirt

Sweatshirts of all kinds have become a huge trend this fall and winter.  Fashion bloggers are wearing designer sweatshirts with everything from jeans and heels to maxi skirts and booties.  Now, you can too!  Porenza Schouler’s abstract watercolor print raglan sweatshirt for the NM + Target Collection is the perfect alternative to getting this fashionable look for less.  The designer duds cost only $29.99.

Lela Rose Guipure Lace Top

This fresh and feminine designer has created a unique guipure lace top in a silk/cotton blend for $69.99.  The floral lace cut-outs are modern yet classic, and work perfectly for holiday parties and celebrating on New Year’s Eve.
