As a way to celebrate the end of the semester and raise money for a great cause, Emerson’s Good News Fellowship hosted an art-filled evening in the Cabaret on Sunday. The event was called Oasis of Hope in honor of the non-profit organization EGNF was raising money for–an organization that offers funding and support to assist children of Kenya who are in need. Art from every side of the spectrum was presented: Emerson students sang and played music, Berklee students performed poetry readings, and The Thinking Cup supplied decadent pastries. The event had a great turnout and gave students a break from studying before finals week. On top of that, over $300 was raised for Oasis of Hope. Great job Emersonians!
