#whatshouldwecallme: Besides the most hilarious website ever?

In case you don’t have a Tumblr and your friends haven’t been blowing up your newsfeed by posting their favorite links, the Tumblr #whatshouldwecallme might just be the greatest thing ever.

Fortunately for me, since I wasn’t tuned in enough to find it myself, my friends are constantly putting clips from the site on Facebook. Curious and amused, I clicked on one, taking me to the site.

And then I couldn’t stop. I became that girl randomly laughing at her computer in public, the one drawing awkward stares (don’t deny it. You’ve done it too).

If you haven’t seen #whatshouldwecallme, let me explain: The creator of the Tumblr posts a category, like “when I get home from the gym,” then demonstrates her actions by taking a very short video clip and putting it on a permanent loop, often with words dubbed beneath.

The best part? Many of these clips are recognizable, like the ones featuring Alan Rickman, aka Severus Snape, or with our favorite child actresses in “Full House”. Something about knowing what the clip is from just makes her gifs even funnier.

But my explanation doesn’t do it justice. You can’t understand the sheer hilarity until you’ve seen it for yourself.

So who’s the mind behind #whatshouldwecallme?

Honestly, who cares? She’s obviously a comic genius, which is enough for me. If it’s not for you, she does give some clues through her posts, like that she’s anupper level law student and she could easily be any of us – after all, don’t her posts apply to every single aspect of our lives? You can ask her questions on her Tumblr or even follow the page on Twitter at @WSWCM.

And if you start now, you can make it through them all pretty quickly – the first post went up February 7. And yes, I’m totally guilty of doing just that.

So go look. Pick your fave – if you can pick just one – and share it with your friends. Now.
