Summer-like temps, spontaneous snow, and rainy days are making this year’s transition into spring a little trickier in North Carolina. With the weather changing day-to-day, a flexible wardrobe is absolutely necessary. Here are five essential transition pieces as we head into another North Carolina spring.

1. Cardigans- a cozy extra layer for cooler spring days.

2. Capris- a lighter alternative to full-length jeans that can be paired with boots or ballet flats, depending on the weather!

3. Lightweight Scarves- perfect for bringing both warmth and spring colors to your #OOTD.

4. Jean Jackets- pair well with a floral dress or skirt.

5. Rain Boots- protect your toes through rain and snow!

If you’re looking to add to your wardrobe with any of these seasonal favorites, there’s no need to trek all the way to Southpoint. Simply Oak in Elon, Boho Blu in Burlington or the Friendly Center only 20 minutes away in Greensboro are full of trendy interseasonal options.

Happy [almost] spring, Elon!
