This awesome senior, Megan Wright, is an Executive Producer for Elon’s first and only pop culture game show, “Win Stuff”, shown on ESTV. “Win Stuff” is Elon’s longest running television show and has been on the air for ten years. You can visit Megan and other reps from ESTV at the general interest meeting on Monday, September 10th in McEwen.

Hometown: Huntsville, Alabama

Year: Senior

Major/Minor: Strategic Communications and double minor in Spanish and Professional Sales

Favorite Hobby: “I’m really outdoorsy and love to get outside and hike or kayak. On the flip side, I LOVE to watch TV. All kinds. A lot. So I’m either outside being a real person in the real world or creatured on my couch watching TV.”

What is your favorite part of being involved with Win Stuff? “It’s just a really fun atmosphere. It’s more like a group of friends hanging out than a really formal organization. Don’t get me wrong – we get stuff done and produce an awesome show, but that almost feels like a byproduct of how well our crew works together and enjoys each other’s company.”

What other activities are you involved with besides Win Stuff? “My other major commitment is my sorority, Alpha Xi Delta. I am also a campus ambassador for Intern Sushi, a really cool website that connects big companies in hard-to-break-into industries with interns.”

Avery is a sophomore at Elon University majoring in Print Journalism. She's involved with the yearbook, Phi Psi Cli, and the newspaper, The Pendulum, as well as a four year honors program called Leadership Fellows, and is also a member of Alpha Xi Delta, Theta Nu Chapter. Born and raised at the real Jersey Shore, she loves the beach, traveling, writing, running, and shopping. She recently studied abroad in Costa Rica for January Term, and hopes to go abroad for a semester in the fall of 2011. She hopes to move to Manhattan after she graduates and work for a women's magazine. Avery is excited to have the chance to bring Her Campus to Elon University.
