There are some things that every girl always carries with her, but were you wondering what other savvy students are keeping in their clutches? Here’s a list of what every Elon collegiette™ needs to carry.

Mascara
Makeup feeling faded? Lost a little luster during the day? Spruce up easily and quickly at a moment’s notice.

Lip Gloss
It’s the sexy, curvaceous cousin of lip balm. There are plenty of moisturizing lip glosses out there, so why go for bland when you could get color, shine and sparkle?

Tampons
This doesn’t really need an explanation. We have all had that moment of rummaging around, not being able to find one, and asking a friend if they have an extra. Keep a few in your bag—it’s handy for you and you’ll be able to help out the next girl in trouble.

Condoms & Birth Control
Both are a must. Avoid that awkward, stressful trip to Rite Aid and play it safe. It’s good for your health, as well as your sanity.

Whisps
Sleeping away from home? Need to freshen your breath without smacking? These are the perfect mini toothbrushes! It’s fresh breath on the go without the hassle of gum and mints. You’ll never be unprepared again.

Ipod
For walking across campus, sitting at home or working out at the gym, having a distraction is pleasant, and listening to your favorite tunes can put a little pep back into your step. Who knows, maybe you’ll have the opportunity to share your favorite band with a handsome stranger.

Phone Charger
Feel naked when you are cut off from your lifeline? How on earth are you supposed to make lunch plans or make it home? Slide a charger in your bag and stay in communication.

Advil
Hangover? Cramps? Mysterious ailment? Get rid of it fast.

Debit/Credit Card
You never know when you may be stuck; make sure that you can get yourself out of a bad situation. This means being able to pay the taxi driver.

With these essentials in your bag, you’ll be prepared for any situation that comes your way and will be able to handle it with style and class.
