Hometown: Foxborough, MA

Majors: Communication Design and French

What are you involved in at Elon?

I am involved with Tri Delta, French Club, Club Lacrosse, Campus Rec & Wellness.

What positions do you hold in the groups?

In Tri Delta I am a member and small group leader, I am the PR chair and treasurer of French club and I’m a manager for Campus Rec & Wellness.

What are your favorite parts about having these positions?

In regards to being a small group leader for Tri Delta, I loved that I got to gain a more personal relationship with the new members and help them transition into sorority life. As the PR chair for French Club I’ve enjoyed getting to create promotional material for the club and run the Instagram, while with the treasurer position I’ve had a chance to take on multiple responsibilities and learn new skills I wouldn’t have learned with just my major alone. In addition, my membership in Club Lacrosse has helped me to gain new friendships and stay active.

While I was only recently promoted to the manager position, all my time spent working for Campus Recreation & Wellness has been such a great experience. I’ve met some amazing people and gotten invaluable work experience.

How do you think having these positions will help you in the future?

I think that my experiences from these positions will ultimately make me a better person and employee in the future. They’ve given me so many real-world opportunities to collaborate with others and learn to communicate effectively.

Do you have any favorite memories with these organizations?

Campus Recreation & Wellness in particular has had a major impact on me over this school year. I genuinely enjoyed going to work and getting to see so many great people and have fun doing it.
