5 Fun Tapas to do on a Girls Night In

If you are like my friends and I, that try to avoid the cold, here I give you 5 fun tapas to do on a girl’s night. Just open a bottle of wine with them and enjoy these amazing recipes.

1.    Brie with Caramelized Onions

Pair With: Toasted French Baguette or Pita Chips

Ingredients:

1.    Brie

2.    Onion

3.    ¼ Cups Balsamic Vinegar

4.    1/3 cup Sugar

5.    Oil

Process:

1.    Heat a little of oil in a pot and add the onions.

2.    Leave until onions are soft,

3.    Add the Sugar and Balsamic Vinegar and leave until fully cooked.

4.    Add the onions to the top of the brie

2.    Chicken Dip

Pair With: Pita Chips

Ingredients:

1 Big Chicken Can

1 Cream Cheese

Chopped White Onions or Green Onions

A little Garlic Salt

3-5 Drops of Tabasco or spicy sauce

Process:

Mix ingredients together

3.    Filo Dough with Brie and Pear

Ingredients:

1.    Package of Filo Dough

2.    Brie Cheese

3.    1 Pear or can of chopped pears

4.    Honey (optional)

Process:

1.    Obtain 2 or 3 sheets of filo dough, if they are too thin, grab one more.

2.    Cut the dough in little squares, the size of your palm

3.    Using only the soft part of the cheese add a piece to the dough.

4.    Cut the pears really small and add 2 to 3 pieces to the dough

5.    (Optional) Add a drop of honey.

6.    Fold the dough so its completely close

7.    Back for 15-20 minutes or until golden at 350°

4.    Pesto Prosciutto Bruschetta

Ingredients:

1.    French Baguette

2.    Tomatoes

3.    Mozzarella Cheese

4.    Pesto

5.    Prosciutto

6.    Oregano (or Basil)

Process:

1.    Cut the baguette into slice approximately 2 inches width and heat the bread in the oven until golden.

2.    Cut the tomatoes and mozzarella in small pieces and mix them with the pesto and oregano

3.    Add a slice of prosciutto to the baguette.

4.    Add the mix of the tomatoes and mozzarella on top of he prosciutto in the baguette

5.    Cinnamon Cake

Ingredients:

1.    1 Box of Yellow Cake Mix

2.    ½ Cup of Sugar

3.    Small Jar of Sour Cream (8oz)

4.    4 eggs

5.    1 Bar of Melted butter

6.    1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon

7.    2 Teaspoon of Black Sugar

Process:

1.    Mix Everything except the sugar and cinnamon

2.    Add 1/3 of the mix to the oiled or buttered pan

3.    Add the mixture of the Cinnamon and Black Sugar to the cake in pan and create a layer of it.

4.    Add the rest of the Mix

5.    Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until done

Icing

Ingredients:

1.    1 cup of confectioner sugar

2.    2 Tablespoon of melted butter

3.    1 Teaspoon of vanilla

4.    2-3 Tablespoon of milk

Process:

1.    Mix all the ingredients

2.    When the cake is done and already cooled, add frosting.
