The month of April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Sexual Assault is a big problem that needs to be stopped. Here are some statistics:

  • 1 in 6 women will be a victim of Sexual Assault in their lifetime.
  • 1 in 33 men will be a victim of Sexual Assault in their lifetime.
  • 1 in 5 females on College Campuses will be sexually assaulted.
  • 1 in 16 males on College Campuses will be sexually assaulted.
  • 32 out of 100 Sexual Assaults will be reported.
  • 68% of victims knew the person who sexually assaulted them.
