Happy Mother’s Day From Your Fur Child

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at ECU chapter.

Hi Mom,

I know mother’s day can sometimes be overlooked or forgotten, but I just wanted you to know that you are appreciated. No belly rub goes unnoticed, and I always forgive you if you feed me a little later than usual. But most importantly I just want you to know that my love for you is unconditional, and I pledge to always come running to you at the door when you come home and shed just enough to leave all my dog hair on your clothes. And since our time began together, I know that your love for me is unconditional…because I know I haven’t been the best fur child ever…

Because I know sometimes I can be pretty embarassing…

And sometimes I know I can be a little curious…

And possibly, maybe, a little greedy about food…

And definately messy… only on occaision, and mostly involving mud or toilet paper.

Or poop…

And sometimes a little inconvienent…

But at least I keep your life interesting.

So thanks Mom, for all that you do. I know I’m not always easy to handle, but thank you for being my guardian.

Love,

Your Fur Child
