With early voting starting up last week and continuing through November 5th, it’s important that as students at ECU and it’s so important that we all get out and vote, especially since for many of us this is our first Presidential election. Regardless of the insanity of this election, it’s so neccessary that we exercise our right to vote and there are so many options for students and how to vote.

One Stop Voting

For students who live on campus and have not previously registered to vote, the ECU One Stop Voting office located in the back of the B lot off of 1st Street is available for our use. All tat is required for you to bring your one card student ID. Here is a link to find One Stop offices in all NC counties.

Out of State Voting

“Young people have the power to make a difference. An important way to achieve this is to make their voices heard at the polls on Election Day.” The Campus Vote Project is a great resource for out of state students to access information on how to participate in voting for our next President.

Same-Day Registration

Same-Day registration is available through the end of early voting (November 5th) at any early voting site. Bring with you a form of ID (student ID and valid proof of campus residency, NC driver’s lisence, ID from government agency, or utility bill with your name and address).

Absentee Ballot

For those of you registered in your hometown, but your schedules are too crazy for you to make it home. Have your parents send you an absentee ballot in the mail to your house here, fill it out, and send it back home to mom.

The options for voting are endless, it’s just important that our generation gets out there and votes for the future of our country. Here is one last link for you to find your polling place according to your address.
