It’s a widely known stereotype that whenever a girl is asked what her favorite season is, that she will not hesitate in responding with “Fall!” Well, for all the girls out there who truly have fallen for fall, I totally get it. I’ve come up with some of the reasons why no other season can compare to fall.

Sweaters and Scarves

As much as I love wearing cute shorts and tank tops all summer long, nothing compares to the feeling of transitioning your wardrobe to cozy sweaters. Fall isn’t cold to the point of discomfort, and you’re also not sweating up a storm. I can’t wait to trade in my shorts for leggings, my flip-flops for boots, my tanks for sweaters, and of course, my necklaces for scarves.

The Scenery and Pictures

I think many of us can agree that the changing colors of the leaves are nothing short of beautiful. Not only do they make any walk, car ride, picnic, or glance out a window enjoyable, but (I think you know what comes next) the PICTURES are to die for. I’m talking pictures with bae, pictures with your girls, selfies, landscape pictures, or even pictures of your pets (you know you do this). No pictures are more Instagram worthy than ones taken during nature’s peak season.

Holidays

Fall encompasses both Halloween and Thanksgiving. Enough said? I think so. Halloween means cute costumes, candy corn, jack-o-lanterns, and movies like Hocus Pocus, Halloweentown, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. Thanksgiving means FOOD, family, pumpkin pie, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, football, and (seriously) more food.

The Décor

Fall decorations, plain and simple, are beyond unique. It’s the time of year where everything you love about the outside can be brought inside. Decorations that look like the colorful leaves, pumpkins and other squashes, and, don’t forget, amazing fall scented candles. I wish I could have my place smelling like cinnamon and apples all year long.

The PSL

This one wasn’t at the top so you probably thought I wouldn’t include it didn’t you? Well, when it comes to fall, you just can’t ignore pumpkin spice lattes. It doesn’t matter if they’re from Starbucks, a local coffee shop, the grocery store, or made from scratch. There’s nothing like taking in the fall atmosphere while walking around sipping a PSL. It truly completes the fall experience.

Happy fall, y’all!
