Hey, Collegiettes™! I’m Emily, and I’ll be blogging this semester for Her Campus-Eckerd. I’ll be sharing my thoughts or any crazy things worth writing about that happen to me, and I hope you enjoy my entries! Unfortunately, I probably won’t be able to meet all of you Her Campus readers, but I can at least tell you a little about myself. I’m a senior here at Eckerd, originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan (GO BLUE!!). I major in Human Development, and hope to someday be a therapist. My favorite things to do to pass the time include taking long drives, watching will Ferrell movies (Blades of Glory is totally my fav), and reading magazines, especially Cosmopolitan! I’m a sucker for Mexican food, and a die-hard Detroit Red Wings fan. People say my best trait is my compassion for others. Making others feel happy around me is important to me. I’m also a huge animal lover. I have five cats back home, Moe, Beau, Boo, Eek, and Squeek. I would die for them, and yes, I do skype with them, and no, I’m not afraid to admit it! Hmm, what else? Oh, I’m obsessed with leopard print, the color pink, and glitter. That’s enough random facts about me, you will all get to know me better as I update this blog.
