October is finally here, and if you are from a northern state—one that actually has fall, you may be missing it.  My favorite season is fall, and it is the one thing that I miss from my hometown, in Cincinnati.  Blue jeans, flannel shirts, boots, sweaters, scarves, apple picking, apple cider, pumpkin pie, and pumpkin spice lattes are just mere favorites from all that is around when the fall season rolls around.

Occasionally Florida throws us those surprise days where we have the fall weather, and it absolutely fantastic, make sure you take advantage of those days.  There are some things that you can do if you get the blues from missing the fall season.  There are some amazing fall recipes that you can make, have a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks, or have someone from back home send you a care package with fall leaves.

If you want to dabble in the kitchen, I have found some really awesome recipes that you can check out for yourself!  If you really like pumpkin bread I found this recipes from the food network, and it is just amazing. There’s also a pumpkin ravioli recipe as well, and it’s so great!

If you are really missing the fall weather, don’t get down in the dumps, Florida will experience some cooler weather—it might not be for a couple more months, but it will eventually show up!  What are some of your favorite fall dishes? Let us know, and tell us what some of your favorite things about fall are!
