At the moment, I am on my year abroad, studying at the Sorbonne in Paris. Obviously, I want to make the most of my time in Paris, so I keep myself busy visiting as much as I can of what the city has to offer. So, here is an insight into my life in Paris.

MONDAY

The first day of lectures of 2nd term! I have 4 hours, which I always find pretty intense as I only have half an hour break in between them, and of course they are in French. Here is a picture of the Sorbonne University.

TUESDAY

After another day of lectures, and I am in desperate need of retail therapy! I decide to head to Le Bon Marché in the 6th Arrondissement, which is one of my favourite shops in Paris. At the moment, Le Bon Marché is home to an Ai Weiwei exhibition, shown in the photo. If you are in Paris, it is worth a visit!

WEDNESDAY

On Wednesday, I went to Maison Kitsuné for one of their Hot Stream events. There was free champagne, cocktails and popcorn, and so we were very happy! It was a really cool location, and there is a coffee shop there all the time if you want to pop in!

THURSDAY

My Thursday adventures included visiting the Le Mur Des Je T’aime in Montmartre, one of the best areas in Paris. This wall is a great place to take photos for Instagram, or to visit with a boyfriend as the wall says “I love You” in many different languages!

FRIDAY

It was finally Friday and to celebrate the end of the week I went to Pizza Chic, an amazing pizza restaurant. It is so popular that you have to book to get a table, and I can see why as the pizza was incredible!

SATURDAY

Saturday is always the day that I like to spend exploring what being in Paris can offer. A friend and I decided to go to the Château de Versailles. I’d never been before, but I’d never imagined how magnificent and opulent it would be! My picture of the day is this one, taken in the infamous Hall of Mirrors.

SUNDAY

Sunday is always my chilled day. I went to my Zumba class at my local gym, which I am a member of. It was the first time I’d been to Zumba at this gym, and it’s still strange being in an exercise class that is taught in French. I took this photo on my way there, check out the Eiffel Tower!

I am currently in my final year of studying English Literature at Durham University, England. I am hoping to become a journalist in the future, but in the mean time, I enjoy cheerleading, fashion and travelling, and of course, being the editor of Durham's Her Campus!
