How does it feel to be a Campus Cutie for 2014/2015?

Charlie: It gives me a slight narcissistic hard on… I’m only kidding don’t put that… say I think it’s a great honour.

So you’re a keen photographer, whom, alive or dead, would you most like to photograph?

Charlie: Ooh tricky one, it’s between Emma Watson, Jennifer Lawrence or Neil Patrick Harris. But I’ll have to go for Emma Watson. She’s just incredible.

What do you look for in a girl?

Charlie: Someone who is easy to talk to.

Emilie: Anything else?

Charlie: Oh and a lovely bum. And I’m more into shape than size…

Ideal first date?

Charlie: An ice cream parlour in Oxford where I live.

Emilie: Now I’ve got to ask, what’s your favourite ice cream?

Charlie: It’s more a set combination: peach ice cream, chocolate fudge sauce and chopped peanuts.

Most romantic thing you’ve ever done?

Charlie: Ooh, I’ve got two. Once, I organised a treasure hunt through our town for my girlfriend at the time.

Emilie: And the second?

Charlie: I learnt to play ‘My Heart Will Go On’ from Titanic for a girl who loved the film (she proceeded to cry). To top the whole experience off, we then romantically kissed outside in the rain.

Favourite pick-up line?

Charlie: Is that a ladder in your tights, or the stairway to heaven?

Emilie: Has that ever worked for you?

Charlie: I’ve never dared use it!

If you could live an existing celebrity’s life for one day, who would you choose and why?

Charlie: I’d have to choose Elon Musk.

Emilie: Who is he?

Charlie: He started life as a hippie, but decided he wasn’t helping the world enough so made a few major life decisions/changes and is now the Chairman of the world’s largest solar panel company, and CEO of both Tesla Motors and Space X – a private space exploration organisation.

Best experience during Freshers’ Week?

Charlie: Got to say being voted ‘Trevs Fittest Fresher’, then doing a body-shot off of Trevelyan’s JCR President!
