As we near the end of the semester, many of us are getting to that point where we can no longer face another day in Perkins. The best way to get over the study blues is to change up your study location. Off-campus study spots provide great alternatives to the fluorescent lights of the library basement. So pack up that Organic Chem book, head off-campus and get ready for a change of pace.

Foster’s Market
Enjoy the last few warm days of fall by making your way to Foster’s Market. The outdoor seating, big tables and endless coffee supply make this the perfect place to post up and knock out that problem set.

Francesca’s Dessert Caffe
For those without a car, take a stroll down Ninth Street to Francesca’s. This place has all you ever wanted: a quiet and comfortable atmosphere with easy access to all the study aides you might need (i.e. coffee, gelato, and pastries). Its proximity to campus and warm atmosphere make Francesca’s a must for study marathons.

Mad Hatter
Mad Hatter’s is a great place to work if you like a little background noise while you study and don’t need too much room to spread out. The space has amazing lighting, but small tabletops. If you are working on a paper or something on your laptop (free Wi-Fi!) this is a great place to work on a Sunday.
