1. What advice would you give your younger self?
Relax. Life is too short to worry about tests, applications, auditions or that fight with your mom. Only worry if the worry really matters. Also stop studying. Go outside.
2. Are you a Miley Cyrus fan?
No, but 23 is still my jam.
3. What are some of your guilty pleasures?
The Bachelor and Shirley Temples
4. If you were alone on a deserted island, what would be the first thing you’d do?
I’d dance, sing, and probably scream, because nobody is watching and nobody can hear.
5. Tell us about your favorite movie?
Dirty Dancing and Remember the Titans, preferably back-to-back for emotional contrast.
6. What’s on your Duke Bucket List?
I want to explore the forest, climb the chapel, and I’d love to watch the basketball team win a national championship.
7. Which Hogwarts house would you sort yourself into?
Hufflepuff or Slytherin, probably Hufflepuff.
8. What are your favorite study spots on campus?
My favorite spots on campus are an empty Wallace Wade or Cameron. Not necessarily the best places to study, but hey.
9. Tell us something every Duke student has to do before they graduate.
Dean Sue hosts Thursday night Scandal parties, they’re incredible.
10. What never ceases to make you smile?
Big ceramic mugs, country music, and late night dance parties with my roommates.
