On Friday, November 11th, Camp Kesem participants got an extra special wish when KESEMania took over the main quad. The event, complete with inflatable slides, caricatures, and delicious caramel apples (among other attractions), raised money for Camp Kesem North Carolina. This camp is a special place; a free week at camp for 120 campers whose parents have, or have had, cancer. It is run entirely by Duke and UNC-Chapel Hill volunteers, and it can make a huge impact on these kids’ lives.
