A couple days ago the first trailer for the Gilmore Girls revival was finally released and it almost brought me to tears. They were the happiest of tears caused by all of the incredible spoilers, lines, and characters found in the trailer. However, in typical Gilmore Girls fashion, there was so much happening that it was difficult to process it all. So whether you were as overwhelmed as I was or maybe just haven’t seen the trailer yet, I’ve broken down some of the highlights.
Rory and Lorelai are back together in Stars Hollow and apparently haven’t seen much of each other lately. Does this mean that we’ll see their fast-talking, junk food filled, reunion?
Luke is also back, and apparently trying to make Rory and Lorelai eat a home cooked meal. Does he even know them?
Kirk is also going to appear in the revival and apparently also be at Friday night dinner. I honestly can’t even begin to figure out why or how that happened, but hopefully this means we’ll see more of his crazy antics.
Both Rory and Lorelai are struggling to find themselves and figure out what they want from their lives.
We’re going to see Richard’s funeral and nothing can prepare me for that.
Apparently Emily doesn’t know how to handle her loss and neither do I.
JESS IS BACK and toasting with Rory.
We’ll get to see a town hall meeting and it will be as ridiculous as ever.
Dean’s back and I’m sorry if this is an unpopular opinion, but I honestly could not care less.
Sookie is back! I honestly didn’t think that this would actually happen and I’m so happy.
Paris makes an appearance and looks like a queen as usual.
Logan makes a return and apparently so does the Life and Death Brigade. I am both incredibly excited and intrigued. Also low key hope this doesn’t mean the return of Entitled Rory.
Lane’s back and playing the drums!!!
Are we going to see a proposal? Please tell me that this scene is going to be Luke proposing to Lorelai!
