In case you haven’t noticed, there’s a lot of celebration for Duke Arts right now. If you happen to wander through the BC in the next week, in your 2 am search for McDonalds (I’m not judging – you can blame your McFlurry cravings on your desire to win the Monopoly game), take a moment to wander through the Student Exhibition for the Duke Fall Arts Festival. There are some pretty amazing paintings, drawings, and photographs from your peers, and you may even be treated to a student performance. Thursday afternoon, lucky passersby were treated with free desserts, spray paint, and t-shirts to make their own cool designs, thanks to Duke VisArts. But don’t worry, there’s more excitement to come!

Keep your eyes open for:
– So You Think You Wanna Dance? classes, open to all, Oct. 31 – Nov. 4
– Duke’s stand up comedy showcase, on the afternoon of Friday Nov. 4th, on the BC plaza
– DEMAN Weekend Nov. 4-5th, which is essentially the chance to hear from, engage with, and potentially network with incredible Duke alums in a variety of media fields

…and much, MUCH MORE!
