Campus Cutie: Romeo

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Duke chapter.

Romeo was adopted in September of 2014 from a local shelter and he now resides in an off-campus apartment with Duke senior James Silberstein. He is excited for his 1st birthday on April 1, and looks forward to the extra attention and new cat toys. He enjoys reading Shakespeare, singing songs from his favorite musical, Cats, and taking trips to Washington, D.C.

Signature Dance Move: Cat Daddy

Hidden talents: Making everyone he meets fall in love with him, also dust-busting with his enormous tail

Results of his favorite Buzzfeed quizzes:

Are You a Cat or a Dog: Cat

Would You Defeat Lord Voldemort: “You would do some SIRIUS damage to Big V.”

Are You Boyfriend Material: Definitely

On his Duke bucket list: Visit the Lemur Center and challenge the baby lemurs to a battle of cuteness, lovability, and tail-fluffiness.

How would his best friend describe him: He is true to his namesake, an iconic lady’s cat, or really, an everyone’s cat. He is infinitely and invariably loveable.

Love life: Romeo currently is single, and has very high standards for swiping his paw right. He is in a pretty serious relationship with his human owners.
