Although its getting cold, we don’t have to say goodbye to the summery drinks we love! Enjoy these 3 smoothies made with fall twists. Blend the ingredients in the recipe together until smooth, add ice and enjoy autumn!

1. Pumpkin Spice Protein Smoothie

  • ½ cup canned pumpkin
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 2 dates
  • 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (optional)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Sprinkle of nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and ginger

2. Apple Pie Smoothie

  • 1 apple, chopped, or 1 cup unsweetened organic applesauce (depending on whether you have a high-speed blender)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond, rice, or coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon natural vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Very thin slice of fresh ginger (the equivalent of a “pinch”)
  • 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed or chia seeds
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Pinch of sea salt

3. Oatmeal Pear Smoothie

  • 1 large pear seeded and chopped
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
  • 1/4 cup rolled or quick-cooking oats
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • ½ tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoons almond butter
  • ½ teaspoon finely grated fresh ginger
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon, plus more for garnish
