3 Durham Restaurants to You Have to Try

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Duke chapter.

1. Rue Cler

Rue Cler is a great brunch spot in Downtown Durham. All their ingredients are sourced locally, and the menu offers a variety of dishes inspired by French cuisine. Be sure to try their Beignets!

2. Juju

Juju, which just opened on Ninth Street is an ‘Asian Tapas’ restaurant. Designed to be shared, the menu includes dishes such as dumplings and Asian Ceasar salad. Save room for dessert, which includes fried pear-goat cheese pie with honey ginger ice cream! It is always pretty full, so make sure you have a reservation!

3. Nana Taco’s

Although this is slightly further away from campus, it is still worth the visit! Nana Taco has a delicious choice of Mexican food (and milkshakes!) in a very casual, yet bustling setting. As well as the usual favorites of fish, chicken and beef, Nana Taco also offers spicy chorizo, house smoked duck and braised beef tongue for the meat lovers!
