As Drake would say, we “started from the bottom, now we’re here.” And being “here,” a senior, is one of the most surreal feelings. While it may be easy to complain about the fact that we’ll have to grow up soon, it’s more important to focus on making the most out of our last semester. Here are a few ideas of things to do before graduating to get you started, but making your own bucket list will be a good way to leave campus with a sense of accomplishment and fond memories to look back on.
1. Go to the Durham Farmers’ Market
2. Have tea at the WaDuke
3. Walk through the Duke Gardens
4. Swim in the Eno River Rock Quarry
5. Attend a Durham Bulls baseball game
6. Visit the Lemur Center
7. Tent for the Duke/UNC game
8. Climb the Chapel
9. Flunch a Professor
10. Check out the “unofficial requirements” if you’re looking for a challenge
Make sure to have fun, spend lots of time with friends, and learn as much as you can! College is the time to focus on doing what YOU want to do, so take advantage of that. This is the semester to make sure you graduate without regrets and appreciate all of the amazing opportunities Duke and Durham have to offer!
