This past spring, I had the honor of listening to Jessica Alba talk about life and business and taking care of oneself at the Her Conference in Los Angeles. She is the founder of The Honest Company with the mission to provide “safe, effective products that perform.” When shopping for baby essentials such as diapers, wipes, food or even breastfeeding vitamins, you can find all the ingredients for each product. This demonstrates the essential aspect of this business– to provide home care products that are free of toxic chemicals that may damage your body over time. Since this concept was well received, she and the executive board have expanded this company to include beauty products. Honest Beauty incorporates this same mission of safeness, but with skin care and makeup products. After using the Refreshingly Clean Gel Cleanser with the Gentle Konjac Sponge topped off with the Everyday Radiance Moisturizer, I fell in love with these products. They are wonderful for sensitive skin and keep my skin refreshed and clean!
On top of all this, the executive board is equally gender distributed with half the board members being women. Awesome! Furthermore, the company pushes for donating diapers, personal care, and cleaning to a variety of charities including Baby2Baby and Wayfarer Foundation. I absolutely love Jessica Alba, and I absolutely love the Honest Company for all the personal care, cleaning and beauty products they provide!
