If you haven’t heard of Marian Hill, you will very soon. The music act duo consists of Philadelphia-area natives, Samantha Gongol and Jeremy Lloyd. Their sound is described as ‘seductive’, ‘a little bit electronic’ and ‘chopped up’ all to produce amazing tracks that are unique to people’s ears. Their song, “Down” was featured in an Apple commercial for the iPhone 7 and AirPods, they have collaborated with Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui for the hit, “Back to Me”, and were just announced in the lineup for Philadelphia’s Made in America music festival set to take place on September 2nd and 3rd this year.
Not only is Marian Hill’s music great, but so is lead vocalist Samantha’s simple style that’s perfect for a musician who owns the stage with her presence. Let’s take a look at some of the different looks she’s pulled off.
Cold Weather Chic

This ensemble is perfect for a windy autumn day. Samantha got this look right by pairing a nude-colored duster coat with a flowy black top, tight charcoal leather pants and topping it off with some dark high-top sneakers. She is also known for switching up her hair colors from time to time and sticks to the theme with her chestnut brown mane. As for accessories, Samantha keeps it simple with a thick black choker around her neck and shows off her black nail polish as well.
Festival Fun

This outfit is perfect for the sunny summer weather and you can even use it to inspire your Made in America festival look. Here, Samantha wears a black cut-out crop top, sparkly high-waisted shorts and keeps her blonde hair long and flowy. This crooner rarely wears jewelry, but to spice up the outfit, add some silver bangles and a medium-sized statement necklace. For shoes, go with a pair of classic Converse sneakers to tone down the look, but if you’re feeling a little edgy, black Doc Marten boots always get the job done.
A Bold Lip

Samantha rocks this look wearing a sleeveless black top, high-waisted leather pants, metallic blue nail polish and her hair slicked back in a high ponytail. Adding a pair of plain black high-top sneakers will give you the comfort, but also stylish footwear that you need. If you are into jewelry, finish off the outfit with a few minimalistic gold necklaces and some gold bracelets as well. A bold lip in red or dark purple, such as the one Samantha is showing off, is a great beauty addition!
