As we enter the cooler month of November, we watch the leaves from the trees slowly change color and dance their way to the ground, drink hot chocolate and enjoy our pumpkin spiced everything. From colors and trends, this is everything you need to know to bring your closet the fresh taste of fall. Welcome to your fall fashion fix.

1. Color

Every season, Pantone, a company working with colors throughout a variety of industries including fashion and product design, heads to fashion week to analyze the colors used and declare the 12 hottest ones of the season. Guacamole, Sugar Almond, Orange Tiger and Chili Pepper are all unique and confident colors to incorporate this fall.

2. Skirts

While it’s hard to let go of summer, transitioning into fall can be seamless and easy. As seen on the runway for Fall/Winter 2019 for multiple shows such as Taoray Wang, mini skirts are on-trend. Pair with tights, knee-high boots and your favorite knit sweater and you’re ready to go.

3. Sweater Dress

Quite possibly the easiest outfit to put together would be one with a sweater dress! The ease does not compromise on the equally classy and elegant look. Whether paired with everyday sneakers, booties or your trusty pair of heels, it’s sure to be a hit this season.

4. Grids, Grids, Grids

For prints and graphics, grids are taking the forefront this season. The pattern brings dimension and opportunity to play with different colors. Whether on pants, dresses or jackets, try to incorporate one statement piece into your wardrobe. Style with neutral pieces already in your closet and you’re ready to go!

5. Utility

Work, but make it fashion! This is the best way to describe the utility trend, found both on the runway and throughout the accounts of a plethora of influencers for this season. Functional, stylish and simple. What’s not to love?

This fall put your best fashion foot forward! Incorporate these trends and add your own ideas to create a style that is uniquely yours. This was your fall fashion fix. See you next season!
