What are your hobbies? Anything outdoors! I love camping, nature, sailing, hiking and basically anything that involves enjoying life in the sun. I also play squash with my friends.

Are you involved in any student organizations? Drexel Naturalists’ Association, Drexel Geocaching, and I just joined Sierra Club.

What is your favorite part about Drexel? I love the fast-paced environment of Drexel. Even on Co-op there is never a slow moment! You are definitely never bored between the city, ten week quarters and tons of opportunities for Drexel students and students of Philadelphia.

Why did you choose Drexel? I chose Drexel because of the Co-op program. I thought it would help me not only get experience, but also affirm my career choice. I also loved the urban environment.

What is the best moment you’ve had at Drexel? My best singular moment was being accepted into study abroad with my best friend, and knowing that I would be going with my friends. Otherwise generally going on urban adventures with my friends. I’m originally from Boston, so anytime I would go to South Street, Center City or any of the surrounding states there was always a new experience. There’s nothing better than exploring campus or Philadelphia with great weather, great food and great friends.

What do you want to do after you graduate? After graduation I hope to go on to a graduate program here in Philadelphia. Ultimately I hope to go into research in biology.

Lindsey is a senior at Drexel University, majoring in operations management & bus. analytics. She has been with Her Campus Drexel for four years and was CC for the middle two. Along with living the city life, she takes an active interest in street style, putting together puzzles and binge-watching her current Netflix obsession. She actually calls Montana her true home so now you can say you know that someone actually lives there ;). When she's in Philly, you can find her in Center City scouring the racks of thrift stores, Old Navy, and H&M if she's not on campus enjoying the multiple food trucks or catching up on the readings she put off until the last day.
