As finals are fast approaching, Drexel’s campus will be transforming into study-mode. Like most college campuses, we have many places for students to study. We’ve compiled a list of great places, both obvious and perhaps not so obvious for you to study and get that A you have been working towards all quarter:
1. The Race Study TerranceThis place is great because even if it’s not that quiet, you’re still in a productive environment. There are tons of students (especially freshmen) working on group projects, so you won’t feel alone while cramming those bio pages.

2. Coffee Shops:Studying in a coffee shop is always relaxing. You can find a table and because you’re always surrounded by people, you will feel the “pressure” to be productive. Plus, you will have food and coffee to keep you going for hours!
3. The Library:The truth is that everyone will be there so it will be difficult to find a spot in this place. Still, the library is a great — if not the best — place to get sources and study. It’s best to go during non-peak hours or to get a group of friends together a book a study room.
4. PISB:There is a certain calmness in the air in this ultra modern and sleek building. The open spaces are filled with sofas and chairs with chargers making it the perfect place to just sit down and learn all those facts for your exam. Plus side: the biowall as your backdrop!
5. A Friend’s house (or dorm):Having a study buddy is a great way to keep the motivation up. Make a pack to study a handful of chapters for a certain amount of time and then celebrate together once you’ve completed that task. You can even buy snacks to share for the stressful moments.
6. Your Desk:Your desk may be a little mainstream, but sometimes being alone at your desk can help you concentrate. Just get rid of distractions around you, plug in your headphones, and you’ll do great!
7. Outside:Though we’re quickly approaching winter, mother nature has been known for some mood swings. If there is a warm day, find a table or a spot on the grass to soak up some sun and get work done.
8. One Drexel Plaza:This place is a little out of the way, but that’s also what makes it a great place to study. No one really studies here, and there is a lot of space to spread out! It’s also relatively quiet and will give even the most reluctant student the ability to focus.
Happy Studying Dragons!
